He was born in Ankara in 1974. He started his music education in 1983.

He graduated from Marmara University, Ataturk Education Faculty, Music department  in 1995. In 1998 he took his master degree on Flamenco forms and usage in the guitar education from Marmara University, Science Institute. In 2004   he graduated from Marmara University Islamic History and Arts Department  phd. program with the thesis called “A comparison between Turkish Mosque music and non-muslim congregations temple music in Istanbul”. He got "Assoc. Prof." degree in "Fine Arts & Music" area in January 2008.

He gave many concerts in and out of Turkey. He was also active in other types of scientific and artistic activities.

He worked as a guitar teacher in many music schools.

He composed  guitar and chamber music. Some of his compositions have been published by local and foreıgn press.These compositions have been interpreted by many guitarists from Turkey and other countries.

He still continues guitar – piano works with Gulnur Sayar and his studies as a guitar educator.
